life update

Recently, life has started to look a little different for me. I’ve been picking up more hours at work—something I intentionally avoided before. For a while, I structured my days around the gym, my hobbies, and getting home as quickly as possible to spend time with my wife. My routines were centered on my well-being: staying fit, enjoying my free time, and making sure I felt good.
But everything changed when we welcomed home our first son. Slowly, my worldview began to shift.
The things that used to fill my mind—playing the game, hitting the gym before work, racing home to unwind, brainstorming ways to make money outside my job—suddenly didn’t hold the same weight. I realized I’d been so focused on my own needs that I hadn’t truly thought about how to serve others. Not just strangers, but the people closest to me: my wife, my customers at work, my coworkers.
Lately, my focus has turned outward. I’m thinking more about how I can work harder, not just for my comfort, but to make sure my family is cared for—today and years from now. I think about my son’s future: how I can set him up to explore life fully, chase opportunities, and grow into the man God has called him to be.
I ask myself: What kind of example am I setting for him? Am I modeling a Godly life, or repeating the same patterns I’ve seen before?
I want to be the one who starts a new pattern. I want to show him what faithfulness looks like—not just to his mother, but to God. I want to model what it means to enjoy the work the Lord provides, to honor God in everything I do, whether at home, at work, or among friends.
Life is a lifelong journey. We will make decisions—some wise, some not—and not every path will lead to immediate joy. But when we choose repentance, truth, and righteousness, I believe we experience what it truly means to be sons and daughters led by God. Even when the path seems unclear, His direction leads to peace.
I’ve learned that being open to righteousness always prevails in the end. Even if it feels like one step forward and two steps back, eventually, with God, those steps lead to progress.
If you’re reading this, let this be your reminder: keep moving forward. Keep seeking truth. Keep obeying. Stay open to God’s voice. Trust that the direction He’s guiding you in will bring prosperity and peace in due time.
